How long does an interior detail take?
Plan on 2 to 3 hours for an interior-only detail on a standard car, and up to 4 hours for a large SUV or minivan, or any vehicle with significant pet hair or staining.
Because the work involves wet extraction, carpets and upholstery will be damp when we finish. Most vehicles are fully dry in 4 to 8 hours with the windows cracked. In humid summer weather or cold winter conditions, allow overnight. We don't recommend booking an interior detail an hour before a road trip.

How do I book an interior detail?

Do I need to be there during the appointment?
No, as long as we can access the vehicle and you've arranged for us to have the keys. Many customers leave the car in the driveway and go about their day.
Is an interior detail safe for leather seats?
Yes. We use pH-balanced leather cleaners and follow with a conditioner. Household cleaners and all-purpose degreasers strip the protective topcoat off automotive leather and cause it to crack - that's the damage we're specifically avoiding.
Will detailing get rid of a smell in my car?
Usually. Odor lives in the source - soaked carpet padding, spilled milk under a seat, cigarette residue on surfaces - so we clean the source rather than spraying over it. Smoke odor is the toughest and may need more than one visit.
Do you remove pet hair?
Yes. Pet hair woven into carpet fibers requires rubber brushes and repeated passes rather than vacuuming alone, so it adds time to the appointment. Mention pets when you book so we schedule enough time.
Can you remove stains from my car seats?
